Seven Willow Designs was engaged to procure and style the Level 1 display apartment at West Residences, a completed architectural development located at 101 West Parade, Mount Lawley by Willing Property.
Inspired by the building’s distinctive Flatiron-influenced form, the interior styling was developed to respond directly to the architecture, its curved walls, arched windows, warm timber flooring and richly detailed material palette.
The result is a refined display apartment that feels calm, cohesive and highly liveable, while still expressing the architectural character of the building.
The interior styling direction for this apartment drew on New York Mid-Century design with subtle Bauhaus influence, using sculptural furniture forms, warm timber tones and layered natural textures to complement the apartment’s geometry.
Rather than over-decorating the space, Seven Willow Designs focused on restraint, proportion and materiality. Every piece was selected to support the architecture, allowing the residence to feel considered, elevated and timeless.

A carefully curated furniture collection anchors the apartment, including a custom-designed sofa, sculptural timber occasional pieces and mid-century inspired dining furniture. These pieces were selected to echo the apartment’s curved forms, arched windows and warm timber flooring.
Creating a Calm, High-End Interior
The material palette combines natural timber, soft linen textiles, muted tones and considered black accents to create a sense of quiet luxury.

Full-height sheer linen curtains soften the daylight and frame the arched window forms, while sculptural lighting and curated artwork bring depth and individuality to the space.

The bedroom was styled as a calm retreat, using warm neutrals, tactile bedding and soft layers to create a restorative atmosphere within the apartment.
